ClaimSecure’s Enhanced Generic Program helps plan sponsors save by reimbursing plan members for brand name drugs at the price of the lowest cost equivalent. Under this program, even if a physician has indicated "no substitution", the plan will not honour the brand drug price. If a plan member chooses to remain on the brand drug, either because of an intolerance or ineffectiveness of the generic version, he or she can complete and submit a "No Substitution Request" form for consideration. Alternatively, plan members can opt to pay the difference in cost or enroll in the Patient Choice Program sponsored by the brand drug manufacturers at www.rxhelpone.ca or www.innovicares.ca.

PostScripts is a national prescription home delivery service that offers ClaimSecure clients an easy way to make their benefit dollars go further. Generating savings of up to 10% of total drug spend, this convenient, value-added mail order program delivers maintenance drugs directly to plan members’ doors within three to five business days, at no charge.
